Sarten Residence - Pohuehue, Warkworth

With an abundant amount of local timber available the owner chose a Wood burner wetback system for primary heat source with a air to water heat pump as a backup.

The underfloor heating system was designed by John Guest in conjunction with our installer Mainly Gas and Plumbing who specialise in underfloor heating systems.

As the wood burner can influence wall mounted thermostats the system was designed with floor mounted probes to control the floor temperature and John Guest wireless Aura electronics with app control makes it very easy for the owner to vary the heat output in each room.
